Protease enzymes are intentionally excluded from this formula. Instead, Gastro™ with Enzymes provides amylase, lipase, cellulase, invertase and lactase, which are commonly included in digestive enzyme products. Each enzyme has a specific activity on different food components, including carbohydrates, fats, fibre and dairy. Alongside enzymes, the formula includes a blend of botanicals traditionally used in herbal preparations, including marshmallow root, fennel seed, papaya leaf, gotu kola and aloe vera.
These plant ingredients are widely included in digestive-focused formulations. This clean formulation is free from unnecessary additives and offers a considered option for those looking for a protease-free digestive enzyme and botanical supplement as part of their daily routine.
