Mood and brain FAQs

When should I get help with my mood?
If you’ve been feeling low, anxious or not yourself for more than 2 weeks, speak to your GP. In England you can also refer yourself to NHS Talking Therapies. If you’re in crisis, call 111 or the Samaritans on 116 123.

Can I take these with antidepressants?
Some supplements, including those with L-tryptophan, saffron or ashwagandha, aren’t suitable with certain medicines. Check with your GP or pharmacist first.
