Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium, which is why the two are so often taken together. Calcium also contributes to normal muscle function and normal neurotransmission. Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normal energy-yielding metabolism and the normal functioning of the nervous system. Vitamin D also contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
The formula also includes a broad blend of digestive enzymes: protease, amylase, lipase, cellulase, invertase, lactase, pectinase and alpha-galactosidase.
